Spiced plum chutney

A day in front of the computer and on the phone gave way to a bit of autumnal cuisine.

I sliced kilos of onion, weeping gently; cored, peeled and diced some large Bramleys; poured out some vinegar; number in a kilo of sultanas; a mound of sugar; and a handful of cinnamon sticks.

Oooh, it's a pretty pan of chutney. Kilos and kilos of it. Yum, yum, yum.
