With @AlexSalmond campaigning in Stirling..

I was at a number of locations today campaigning for YES. I have many shots to remind myself of the campaign, but thought this one was appropriate, since I spent some time this afternoon with hundreds of campaigners in Stirling, including Scotland's First Minister.

Unlike the leaders of the NO side, Alex (and others such as Patrick Harvie, Nicola Sturgeon and Denis Canavan) has sought to engage with the public, whether on the streets as here, or in open public meetings. The NO leaders have meanwhile resorted to ticket only events and avoiding the electorate.

But this election is more about us, the people in the communities throughout Scotland, rather than any senior politician. It is about a national renewal to start creating a prosperous and above all fairer society.
