Smash n grab

What a gloomy grey day. The kids got fed up of being stuck in the house and were periodically pains in the actual arse. A trip to soft play and cinema at Ocean Terminal proved fruitless as he soft play was fully booked and the little one decided she didn't want to see a film. Still... I got to look at some impressive cranes and the Gormley :)

Highlight of the day was to smash up the newly made gingerbread house so it could start to be devoured :) Mr M decided not to join in the gingerbread frenzy on the grounds we suspect the cats may have been licking the icing.

Wuss.

He was however, magnificent, when it came to dealing with an enormous spider the size of my hand. The old glass/paper/out the window routine came up trumps and has ensured we don't fall asleep worrying if the ginormous fecker would come and eat our noses.
