The George White Memorial Mountain Cup

After months of preparation it was finally the day of reckoning! Straight out of bed this morning and down to the pitch to setup the tents and set the pitch right for the games. Despite the excitement of the lads playing I was preoccupied with making sure the food and beer for 100 rugby players actually did turn up and was all ready on time. Blacksburg squeezed out James River in their first game and so ended playing Roanoke (bitter rivals) in the final (Roa unbeaten in 2 seasons). DESTROYED Roa 55-12! Admittedly they didn't bring their first team but thats their concern! Food and beer all went well and having packed up I head to the pub for a beverage before hometime!
