Bedtime reading

One of my favourites because of this piece of dialogue:

(In the mess hall for their first meal as Roman legionaries)
Obelix: "I say, do you think they'll have boar?"
Asterix: "Don't get any ideas! The stronger the army, the worse its food is. That's what keeps the men in a nasty mood!"

(After taking 1 mouthful of the legionary rations)
Asterix: "I didn't think the Roman army was that strong!"

C finished cladding the shed today.

We wanted to have the hare saddle for dinner, but all the recipes say that it has to marinade for 2 to 24 hours, so we had pasta with beef flat rib & roasted mediterranean veggies.

Weather was sunny & warm, but one feels the chill when the sun gets low.
