Lancasters - Goodwood Revival

There is only one airworthy Lancaster in the UK normally, but this summer there is another one visiting from Canada. We were lucky enough to see them fly past along with the BBMF two spitfires and hurricane on all three days. But today was special in a moment celebrating Westhampnett at war, first people dressed in second world war style civilians walked from either end of the main straight meeting in the middle, then second world war vehicles drive up the straight and park up with jeeps carrying D-day veterans taking centre stage. The moment is topped off by the flypast and everyone waving union jacks and cheering the planes as they go past.

It was also special for us as while watching this SR was wearing my Nan's old fur coat and she would have loved this.
