Reflections

A lovely autumn day .
A busy work day but I seemed to find enough energy to enjoy the evening.
We walked round Ardmore Point just along from where we live and it was truly beautiful. Late summer wildflowers - red campions, scabious, honeysuckle , and an orangey flower that looked like asphodel? which covered the ground in a mist of amber orange .

Three ducks flying low and herons standing still ;

Sunlight splitting the clouds and the sound of water lapping against the rocks.

Oh...and we gathered brambles, chopped apples added a few damsons from the tree and made a nice crumble for pudding:-)
