On SE Burnside

This door and the wall beside it, remind me of a Portland disappearing. Across the street and in every possible location, buildings like this are being razed and large impersonal apartment complexes are filling the landscape. Scenes like this old door and the building it belongs to are vanishing, not unlike the small birds who filled the trees and bushes in back yards and vacant lots. That's progress, our most important product.
