Cooper's Hawk On Fence

What a delight to see a cooper's hawk this afternoon. It's been too long, and I have been thinking about them...and in flies my favorite! He had just captured a bird, and flew under the neighbor's rhody bush, but the bird managed to escape and the poor hawk sat dejected on the fence.
