Roadtrip: Day 6

Virginia > West Virginia > Maryland > Pennsylvania > New Jersey

The time finally came to head back home. None of us wanted the trip to be over and to be heading back to work, but then we all remembered there's worse places to be returning to than New York.

We made a stop at an old plantation house and had a look around the grounds and learnt about its history, before continuing the drive back.

After getting lost in the spaghetti ring roads of Newark airport we made it back just in time to not be charged any extra for the car. We all agreed the trip had gone incredibly smoothly, especially given the late planning, at which point I dropped my bank card down the gap between the train and the platform. Doh!
