A Meandering Life...

Here's another village not far from me.

Otford, or Otterford, possibly derived from Offa, the King of Mercia who fought against the Kentish Saxons in 776 at the Battle of Otford, is notable for the Archbishop's Palace, the duck-pond roundabout, and the scale model of the Solar System which claims to be one of the largest in the world.

The Millennium Mosaic was made by Oliver Budd, who taught me how to make mosaics just before I finished my Koi Carp.
