This item is from a scrapbook made by my mother while they lived in New York in 1928-29. My dad received a $750 Scholarship for a year of study at Columbia University. Since they were from Iowa they thought they might not ever go East again. So they went to plays, museums, football games, services at many churches, teas, parties, and receptions. Mother kept all the programs, letters, articles and pasted them into this scrapbook. I just don't have the heart to downsize the memorabelia in this scrapbook.
