Did I just drop some?

A wet day today, so with limited options, it is the wax eyes or silver eyes as they are also called, at the tree where I feed birds.

I put some beef dripping in a net bag and hang it from a branch otherwise the starlings scoff it up immediately. Sometimes the net is covered in little feathery bodies, busy clogging up their arteries, but sadly, not today.
