Last day in Banff

Our last photo taken in Banff. A much painted scene near Banff village. We finally saw a herd of elk too. This trip we saw two black bear, a wolf, several big horn sheep, marmots, variegated thrushes, and golden mantled ground squirrels. We also took a gondola ride to the top of a mountain near Banff village and walked a boardwalk to a nearby peak. Beautiful views everywhere. Drove to Calgary later in the afternoon.
