A Nation Speaks

The counting is over. 6:08am was the tipping time when the Yes campaign knew they couldn't win but the formal announcement and the total vote count were just made a few minutes ago. It'a No but it certainly isn't a vote for no change. I think we'll see unprecedented change over the next 6 months. And long, long overdue!

85% of the voting population in Scotland have turned out. Now it's up to the politicians of all parties to keep them interested and motivated. If we slip back to half that number voting in next May's general election then it'll be a huge opportunity lost and a political disaster.
