So blessed to live here.

I drive around this City a great deal and I'm often blown away by her unexpected beauty. The clouds on the mountain; the runway lights on a cloudy day; the changing light on the grasses in the curve of the clover-leaf as I enter the R300. Beauty which makes be catch my breath and give thanks that I have my sight and live in the fairest cape.
Today I was totally amazed by the sight of this mass of orange watsonia, about to come into full bloom. About 2 acres of flowers - wow - I've never noticed them before. I'll have to return next week with my camera.
