Amaryllis

One of the buds has begun opening and the other is just offering a glimpse of what's inside since I last blipped my amaryllis on February 6th. It now stands about 61cm/24in tall (from the bulb) and the buds have caught up with the tops of the leaves. I imagine it'll grow taller yet.

I'm just amazed that it has grown so well in my care! I'm really pleased with it.

By the next time you see it, we'll have at least one fully open flower.
