nonsenses & truths

Scotland decides

Unintentionally wide awake at 4 am, so I put the radio on, messed with the reception without successfully removing the annoying interference (additional to Nigel Farage), resorted to the iPad and listened to the votes being declared for a couple of hours before I had to get up for an early bus.

Both sides the Tweed.

What a fantastic turnout. I know there has been some unpleasantness, but to have a community so engaged in its future is wonderful, and I hope it continues.

On a purely selfish note I'm very glad to have my nationality, British, intact; I'm neither and both English and Scottish so I don't know how else I'd be able to describe it.

PS Geez a job!
