When In Amsterdam.....

..... order a thai curry and a latte!

In our defence we arrived at the hotel at 8am after a very pleasant uncomfortable transatlantic flight, grabbed 3 hours sleep in our lovely feather-free room at the Marriott, showered then headed down to the hotel bar for lunch.

We were really surprised to see that the menu had a big curry section, both thai and indian, and even more surprised at just how good they were. The chef came out to see how we liked them as they were hot, and she was worried we wouldn't be able to eat them! No problems here!

Talking of hot, see the latte at the front of the picture, well it's served in a glass, with no handle. You needed asbestos fingers to hold it!!!!!

PS I think this may be the first picture of me I've ever blipped!
