Langdale Pikes

A rather slow day today, after spending much of the night hearing the referendum results gradually revealed.

Have been exploring the Langdales - particularly Great Langdale. This is the Langdale Pikes.

It's been really interesting to rediscover the Lake District after far too long a gap. As a student (that's a long time ago) I spent a lot of weekends in the Lakes, but more recently it just hasn't featured.

Mind you, I don't recall the weather being as good as we've had this week. I still have fond memories of wet tents and damp Youth Hostels.
