the incomparable nik turner

Just back from this gig with the incomparable Nik Turner, flutist/saxophone player from Hawkwind touring this year with The Hawklords.

Although my favourite times seeing Nik was when he was with the psychedelic punk band Inner City Unit.

To think when I was 18 or 19 or 20 I would travel around Wiltshire countryside hitch-hiking lifts on hearing word of a free festival where Hawkwind were playing.

Today I buy tickets online and I used a Sat-Nav to travel to this gig only 40 minutes away! weird!
