Solar Power

After being woken up by the gentle sound of a refuse truck beeping its way along the street, we decided to get up and go for a wander.

We prepared well; sun cream, sunglasses, hat and some water. Felt great. And we set off for Cala Boquer - it was supposed to be an "easy" walk and should have taken about an hour (which it did).

Cala Boquer was very pretty, as you can see. Unfortunately we couldn't linger as I had become the man for wasps to know - it was horrible. Plus there was a group of 4 young women who hadn't had a day out squealing for absolutely ages...

And so we headed back.

I've never felt quite like it. No power in my legs, dizzy, ready to throw up. I genuinely thought I was going to pass out. Not a good thought in that terrain of no fixed paths.

However, we eventually did get back. I managed a cold shower and then passed out on the bed for several hours.
