Pollen fest

The weather brightened up late this afternoon after a dreich start to the day. This shot was taken in one of the village 'garden areas' which still has many summer blooms in flower. I spotted this bee thoroughly enjoying himself on a dahlia and he kindly stayed still long enough for me to take this shot.
