Blurry

Poor Whisky. We took him to the vet first thing this morning. It was horrid leaving him there and we were on edge all day. At one point the vet rang to ask if he could X-ray Whisky's chest. The cat was panicking and having trouble breathing, and the vet wanted to make sure of anything more serious. This made us extra worried. The X-ray shows some fluid on the lungs that could be something related to heart disease. The vet can arrange for a cardiologist to visit the surgery and check Whisky out, but that's for another time. The damage on Whisky today was four teeth extracted, including one of his fangs, which meant surgery on his jawbone. Hopefully, he's on the road to recovery now and he'll be able to eat well in no time. We also got him microchipped so he can have one of those special cat flaps that stop other cats coming in.

When we got him home, Whisky wobbled about a bit, but settled down OK. He slept beside me all night.
