Fishing from our dock...

Look who I caught on our dock today! :)

It rained all day. The light was poor, the distance was long, and the resulting image turned out to be... well... crap. But I just had to share this fun find. Had the dogs kept quiet, I was going to attempt to get closer... but no such luck. As soon as the pups spotted him, they came charging over barking up a storm! This heron didn't stick around to see if they wanted to be friends. ;-)

Darn dogs... Good thing they're cute.
