Scones and Jelly

Quite Sunday spent with the family.
Mum has been making jelly this week Rowan jelly and Bramble Jelly.

DD is in the bad books for calling in a sickie. For punishment she is grounded, will not get her computer or phone after school and even worse we made her make scones.
She's actually OK with this as she understood she was in the wrong.
Pretty sure she was egged on by one of her mates. Will be having a chat with that mate next time I see her.

Scones were lovely and go really well with the bramble and apple jam, which BTW just gets better and better.

Next time you make plain scones ad a little ground allspice to them....yum.
