CONCORDE

I haven't been out on the Harley for some time so I took advantage of the weather and the invitation to ride out to the "Wheels and Wings Show" at East Fortune just south of Edinburgh. The two main events were a stunt motorbike show laid on by the "White Helmets" and very impressive they were too. Then we were treated to an aerobatic flying display from a Jet Provost aircraft which was equally impressive. However, my choice for blip is this rear view of Concorde inside its hanger.

Concorde was jointly developed and produced by Aérospatiale and the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) under an Anglo-French treaty. First flown in 1969, Concorde entered service in 1976 and continued commercial flights for 27 years. It was an incredible feat of aero engineering and way ahead of its time!
