Yeast (with added kick)

Pulped and pressed another 20 litres of cider yesterday.

Put it in the big 25 litre fermentation bin, and added some Campden tablets to minimise risk of spoilage from wild yeast etc.

In the mean time, sugar water and yeast were added into a jug to get going before adding that today.

As I've already got 3 demijohns bubbling away - and expect to have some more apples (and pears) to squish; I decided to experiment.

Grated ginger, nutmeg and a good dose of chilli flakes have also gone in. Once the cider is racked off into the demijohns, then it will be filtered, so not sure how much kick will be infused in the finished product.

Wait and see.
