Unexpected Splendour

Spent a couple of hours wandering today in Newbridge House through the lanes and parkland looking for a special photo to no avail.

I remembered a side road by the estuary I had been down before and decided it was worth a try for something different or special and was rewarded with a blood red sunset over the mist shrouded trees of Newbridge House as the crows came in to roost... I continued to photograph this sky even after the sun had set as in its leaving it left a parting gift of spectacular cloud formations of silver framed pinks....spectacular is possibly the best word to describe it all....So glad I took that road.....just saying
