Night Bloomer

This was a night bloomer. I should have taken a picture last night with a flash when the flower was wide open and beautiful.

This is mid morning, and already the petals are starting to crumple and draw inward. It is beautiful nonetheless. Within a few hours, the flower was completely wilted and closed, never to open again.

I bought this cactus and its friend for $1 from a neighbor about a year ago. I wish I knew it's name...
