Local history

These signs are put up with bits of local history regarding buildings and areas of Kendal, put up by the civic society I think. I'd noticed these around but never used to pay a lot of attention to them, until I think it was another blipfoto user Fenner (http://www.blipfoto.com/fennerpearson) who wrote about them on his blipfoto.
