That Soft Pink Coloured Rose

Today’s soft pink coloured rose I dedicate to my dear neighbour friend. He pointed to This Special One because it is surrounded by Four Buds. These white roses were light giving in the almost grey morning. We were making our first walking round shortly after sunrise. Hidden behind the clouds, the sun gave a slight pink glow in the sky and over these marvellous roses. It gave a festive touch to our going together. He had been so kind to join me on my Early Exercise. I had been neglecting morning walk for some time and heard that he had already made his start into movement and breathing. Lets move together, I proposed, as we both feel losing ‘shape’ a bit. He has had to endure a long difficult period in his life, but in spite of all this had done, what I had almost forgotten here on the Foresthill: first thing in the morning, walk around in the vicinity.

So, this fresh pink rose with buds symbolizes, a kind of new adventure in daily simplicity: breathing from your Hara-centre, going in a slow pace, just to enjoy the unique sphere of the daybreak. And enjoying that in togetherness. And who knows, perhaps we will do another early round tomorrow morning...The rest of the day Willemien and I have been working on the installation of our “new” wardrobe. Which has been quite another kind of exercise, without assembly instructions. But apart from some faults and errors, we managed to reconstruct it in a good enough manner. Which brings some satisfaction, anyway. And maybe, tomorrow we will have the opportunity to have our well earned rest, reading in a deck chair, warmed up by a hide and seek sun. Or even such a soft pink glow over our Foresthill will make us smile without sun glasses.
