It's Grim Up North

Glasson Dock

I last visited Glasson Dock when some friends gave up running sea lion shows on Morecambe sea front and moved here to become pub landlords. That was several lifetimes ago.

Things have changed in Glasson. There's a new roundabout.

And our local, colour blind skip hire company were in town.

Glasson Dock is a working dock and marina on Morecambe Bay south of Lancaster. Access to the dock is via the mouth of the tidal river Lune. The dock has lock gates which are only open for an hour or so on each high tide. The dock then has a lock into a marina and the Lancaster Canal.
