The kindness of friends

In the end it was only ever going to be one thing I would blip today.

This anemone was a gift from a lovely friend, it arrived not long after I moved into this house and it has taken weeks and weeks to finally flower, saucily waving those tightly packed buds at me every time I went out of the back door. Like a musical theatre chorus line. But almost spookily it has finally flowered on my 1k blip. I can't wait for all the other flowers to come out now :)

So 1000 blips without a break. What a journey it has been. I'll save all the mawkishness for my three years but quite honestly Blip(pers) you've been fabulous, dahlings.
