Gino Corr R.I.P.

This has been a tiring day but a family day that brought us all together for a dear cousin's funeral. We were up early for the drive to Aberdeen for the service which was unique and quirky. As we entered the crematorium we were treated to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. The service was lead by a wonderful humanist minister who outlined Gino's life for us all, then his sister Mary sang, unaccompanied, a few moments of reflection and as we left we were treated to the music from Countdown which is played as the contestants work on the conundrum. Some of my Scottish blipper friends may remember Gino being very successful on Countdown and in particular the episode where he and his opponent both came up with a word which was cut from the showing but has been well used in TV out takes since then.
