Hear the music

Spent the evening in Cambridge with CLH, listening to Django's Tiger, and occasionally even trying to dance.
Why do live music performances often seem to take a long time per piece as opposed to recorded? It can make it very tiring to dance to.

Anyway, the band were very good, the people as friendly as always and the conversations interesting. You meet such a variety of people at these things.
