Grass Snake Not In The Grass

Tess spotted this one lying in the middle of the road when we were out on the bikes this afternoon. It was decidedly sluggish and didn't look to be very well to me, so I moved it onto the verge out of harm's way. Having checked on t'internet, I'm pretty certain it's a grass snake.
