Lens testing

Today I received a used lens (Sigma 50/1.4 EX) that I ordered last week. The first shot I took was of Petteri, my faithful test model. Even though this shot came out OK, I can't be satisfied with the autofocus. I could adjust it to work well on short distances, but it doesn't give good results at long distances at any setting. I think I must return the lens.
