shotlandka's weebig world

By shotlandka

Welcome to Narnia

This particular spot in Oxford is thought to have been part of CS Lewis's inspiration for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. On the left of the shot you can see a lion - Aslan, in the centre a faun - Mr Tumnus, and on the right a lamp post rather randomly standing in the middle of the street - Lantern Waste. I love those books, so want to believe the story!

Off to Glasgow tomorrow, the hardest bit of which will be getting from Oxford to Luton! Then to Arran and Kilmarnock!
