Disappointing result in Scottish Referendum

Despite the enthusiasm and engagement of the "Yes" campaign, the result was 55% No to 45% Yes. I have been a committed yes for weeks (and a probable Yes before that), but it turns out Patricia couldn't bring herself to vote No so switched to Yes in the polling booth. Needless to say we (and many many others) are disappointed not to be embarking on the adventure of independence. This is not an anti-english thing, just an opportunity to run our own affairs and be different if we want to be (and in general a dissatisfaction with the "unionist" parties, their preoccupation with UKIP and anti-EU tendencies). Bin that with this week's Radio Times.
