Half-timbered buildings, Dinan

The medieval town of Dinan is packed with wonderful old buildings, leaning this way and that.

It was very difficult to choose a scene for today.

The right hand building houses a shop called La belle-iloise, the retail premises of a thriving third generation business. Founded in 1932, they are canners of sardines, mackerel and tuna. The shop has a brilliant display of canned fish with brightly coloured cans and an enormous range of flavours of the fish.
