Not For Camping

I was lucky enough to visit Munich's famous Oktoberfest with German, French, Spanish and English colleagues this evening. I'd been once before nearly 10 years ago and it is amazing, the atmosphere is just indescribable. We had tables in the Hacker Festzelt (Bavarian Heaven) beer 'tent', one of 14 tents each of which holds up to 6,000 people, yes six thousand!! If you haven't been I'd recommend adding it to your bucket list straight-away.
