One would hope that the fly would more sense in this case.

Miss (Mrs. or Ms) Argiope aurantia is one big girl. I am assuming it's a female, on account of the female is up to 4 times larger than the male and if this is a male, the matching female would be almost as big as the palm of my hand.

One does not wish to dwell on that.

Still have a lot of fun photographing bees and bugs in Albuquerque.

And we've just found out that the Photographic Society of America is having its annual conference here next week. I will be back home again, but I think the Rower will go.

Big is beautiful, but just a tad scary.
