#Pakistan Flooding : Emergency #Appeal

In recent weeks, flooding in Pakistan has swept away homes, possessions and livelihoods killing 450 men, women and children. Two million people are in desperate need of food, clean drinking water, shelter and medicines.

‘The massive volume of gushing flood water inundated houses of poor farming communities, destroying their agricultural land, their businesses and washing away grains and cattle – indeed everything that is necessary for subsistence'.

Our team have been visiting villages in some of the worst affected areas, Haveli District and Sialkot region, to provide care packages.

IMPACT Pakistan tells us; 'The devastation caused by the flooding reflected terrifying situation as majority of the mud-structure houses have been completely inundated and destroyed their possessions'.

It is impossible for IMPACT to reach everyone but a gift of any amount would make a real difference to 1,500 men, women and children whose homes have been destroyed in IMPACT’s project areas.

When disaster strikes in a region in which we are already working it is impossible to stand by and do nothing. We hope you feel the same. Please help.
