Turning over a new leaf....

I thought today I would share one of my more successful images from my most recent shoot. Still on the topic of fast shutter speed, but instead of using water, using leaves and twigs etc.

To get this image I had Alissha collect a handful of the leaves and then throw them into the air. I made her turn away from the camera because when we practiced it previously, it worked better with her looking away. The only problem with it is that it is under exposed to the left of the picture, because the surrounding trees were blocking the sunlight, and you can see the light reflecting on the leaves in the bottom right of the image.
