Waiting for the birds.

Plants and shrubs with with berries seem to have done very well this year. We are hopeful they will attract field fares and maybe even waxwings a little later in the year.

I thought the red looked particularly attractive against the creamy colour of Pampas Grass. We have two large clumps of that, one at the front of the house and one at the back. I have just looked up Pampas Grass in Wikipedia and find to my dismay that it is a signal that "swingers" live in the house. Whatever swingers are we ain't!
