Tropical Trespassing

I had to go to the poodle-parlour hairdressers this morning to have my hair chopped, as I'm going to a friend's 50th birthday dinner tomorrow night and there will be a few people there I haven't seen for a few years, so thought I'd better get my rat's tails coiffed.

I went for a walk around the city after, then went into the Barbican to have my lunch. I don't think I've ever been in the Conservatory before, so went up to the 4th floor to have a look. A door was open to the Garden Room, so, although there was nobody about, I walked in there and tried the door to the Conservatory, which was open. Hurrah! It was empty, but the floors were quite wet, though I wasn't sure if it was open to the public...so I took a few quick photos, then sneaked out again, in case I was locked in, escorted out by a burly security guard, or the plant sprinklers were turned on! When I went outside, I saw a sign on the doors and it said it only opened on Sundays and bank holidays. Oops. Sorry.
