Hanging around

In the space of a few minutes I saw in the garden two robins, a pair of blackbirds, a song thrush, a wren, three female greenfinches and a sparrow. None of them hung around long enough to be blipped. I decided the only way to keep your subject in the viewfinder was to peg it down. A bit of treatment added texture.

Incidentally, the male blackbird had black eyes and beak - no yellow. Does that colouring arrive later and suggest it was a juvenile? I wonder ...
