People in wax houses ...

The walls around us,
Seeming impenetrable,
Are melted by thought.


... A rather fun evening. Tasha's boyfriend, Adam, has been working on a project with the artist Alex Chinneck, which forms part of the Merge festival on the Southbank. The exhibit is called "A pound of flesh for 50p" - not entirely sure why. More about it here.

Adam invited us along to the opening so of course we went! Sadly Tash wasn't there as she is visiting a friend in Berlin. It was a real treat - such a clever idea. The house is entirely made of wax bricks, even the window "glass" is wax, and the door. The idea is to gradually melt it during the festival, so what seems like solid bricks and mortar will gradually sink and slump to nothing ....

There were cocktails and food and music ... I don't think the cocktails played any part in me falling asleep on the train on the way home ... they're just fruit juice right?
