Beary Good Friend

Beary Good Friend is a Teddy Bear that has come to symbolize the caring relationship among the women in my hiking group. She visits members of the group who need comforting for one reason or another--illness, surgery, bereavement. I had surgery four months ago and was very touched to be visited by Beary Good Friend and all she represents. Members of the group also provided advice, company, errands, food, help, cheer, cards, and anything else I needed during my recovery. I wanted to made this record of her visit before someone else needs her.
